Executing the Server Room Build-Out
To deliver an uncompromising IT backbone, our team executed a comprehensive server room build-out from the ground up. We began by managing the high-density structured cabling dropping from the ceiling void, meticulously routing thousands of meters of Cat 6A cable into the 42U server cabinet.
For the terminations, our certified technicians utilized specialized tools to connect premium Siemon Z-MAX modules. This guarantees optimal network performance with zero cross-talk. Every cable was then precisely traced using wire trackers and mapped to its exact patch panel port (e.g., Port D14), ensuring the infrastructure is perfectly organized and highly serviceable for future IT management.
Beyond data routing, maintaining continuous power is critical. We installed and commissioned a robust 30kVA Easy 3S APC UPS, complete with a beautifully labeled external bypass panel. Following comprehensive electrical, LAN Ethernet, and OTDR fiber testing, this server room build-out provides a resilient, future-proof foundation for the institution’s entire operation.
